Arc 1: Nightbloom · Zara
Episode 03

The service passage smelled of warm dust and rain. Hana held the door. Yuuki held a torch. I held the old jacket.
Its lining had warmed during Luz's song. The stitched warning was no longer a pattern. It had become a map.
Blood Threads answered when I touched the first seam. A thin red line lifted from the fabric and stretched toward the locked control room.
Yuuki asked whether all our clothes did that. I told her no. Mika would never finish laundry if they did.
Behind us, two sets of footsteps approached. Luz and Hikari stopped on opposite sides of the doorway. Neither crossed first.

There was a thirteenth hook in the centre. On it hung a plain grey jacket, still wet from tonight's rain.
A speaker crackled. Three beats. Then a voice said our names, one after another, as if taking attendance.
I pulled the thread free. Every light in the passage came back on. For the first time, both crews stood in the same light.
Come closer. The knot is ours to undo.Enroll
