You don't need to know our names before you arrive. Start with the station, the crowd, and a song. The rest comes into view as you read.
Kuroville is a modern city of last trains, late shifts, streetwear, and stages built wherever people will listen. The supernatural lives inside that city, not outside it. Our jackets carry old warnings alongside their patches.
I'm Luz. Mika, Kira, Zara, Hana, and I are the Hood Juku Girls. We are vampire idols, and we decide who we become.
Our performances make us harder to hide, and the Hunters follow the attention our music brings. At Nightbloom station, stopping the song would be sensible. You can read what I choose instead.
Across the tracks stand the Dragonites, seven dragon knights known as the Seven Scales. Their leader is Hikari, the Azure Dragon. They were raised to protect Kuroville and keep an old balance.
We don't agree about what this city needs. That does not make either crew the enemy. You will hear our voices separately, and you can decide what each of us is missing.
Read in order
Begin with Episode 01, then continue to Episode 02 and Episode 03. I tell the first episode. Hikari tells the second, and Zara tells the third.
Each episode pairs an illustration with short prose you can scroll through on your phone. This is illustrated fiction, not a panel-by-panel comic. The text remains readable if an illustration does not load.
All three episodes are free to read. You do not need to enroll, save an email address, or buy anything. Nightbloom is still unfolding; Episode 03 is not the end of the story.
